Fees at The Nest Co-Ed Nursery (age 3+)
Morning Sessions – £2,690 per term*
Morning sessions run from 08:00 to 12:00 and do not include lunch. Afternoon sessions, including lunch, are available upon request at £32 per session. These sessions are optional except for the term prior to boys transitioning to Reception when we require them to attend for at least 3 afternoons per week. Afternoon sessions are invoiced retrospectively at the end of each term.
Morning & Afternoon provision – £4,570 per term*
Whole day provision runs from 08:00 to 17:00 with the option to pick up from 15:00 onwards. It assumes attendance at both morning and afternoon sessions every day. With this option you may choose to claim 30 hours government funding.
*Please note that in order to qualify for the 30hrs Extended Funding and for it to be applied to your school fees, you will need to check your eligibility and provide us with a code through 30 hours free childcare – GOV.UK (www.gov.uk) before 1st July 2022
Means-tested bursaries may be awarded to pupils whose circumstances would otherwise put an independent school education beyond their reach and are handled by our partner charity The Gold Standard Charitable Trust. Applications for means-tested bursaries must be accompanied with a letter to the Head explaining circumstances for applying. Full details are available from the Registrar.
15 & 30 Hours Early Years Funding
Falcons Prep Richmond is an approved provider of government Early Years funding. All 3 and 4 year olds are eligible for the 15 Hours Universal funding, which the school will claim on your behalf. For those children attending full-time (morning and afternoon sessions 5 days per week) we are also able to offer the 30 Hours Extended Funding. A Richmond Borough Parent Declaration Form must be completed to ensure eligibility and for a claim to be made. The funding does not cover the total cost of placing a child in our nursery school, therefore we charge an additional hours and services package. The additional service charge is due to the cost of providing qualified staff of a high calibre; maintaining a small teacher to child ratio; the provision of peripatetic staff to deliver extra-curricular classes such as Music, French, PE, and Forrest School classes as well as providing hot lunches, snacks and other consumables. The funded hours are offered between 8:30am and 3:30pm each day.
