Science and Geography Field Trip to East Meon

Last week Year 6 and 7 went to East Meon Sustainability Centre for a residential visit to study sustainable energy resources and practice their map reading skills. We stayed in the centres eco-friendly lodge and learned how to build houses using sustainable resources. The boys used their OS maps to find their way through the beautiful Meon Valley and learned about crop rotation and wildlife along the way. A great time was had by all and even though it rained we didn’t want to come home!
