Ethos
Our aim is to continue the development of boys' potential right through to the age of 13, whilst giving full assistance and encouragement to those boys sitting 8+ or 11+ examinations. Boys develop at different rates and our focus is on ensuring that, when they are ready to make their next move, they are supported to do so, whatever their age. The combination of a challenging, yet supportive academic environment and a strong physical education programme will enable boys at the school to grow intellectually, emotionally, physically and socially. The school aims to attract boys with all-round drive, from a range of schools, and to build robust foundations for their future role in society. We welcome boys from all religions and faiths and aim to develop a sense of politeness, good manners, self discipline and a respect for others, as we consider these important qualities for life. The ethos of the school will rely on a strong relationship with parents, we see this as an important partnership that is based on shared responsibility, understanding and mutual respect.
